To celebrate AMBS's 60th anniversary, the East Asia Centre is proud to present the AI Asia Roadshow featuring Dr. Mark Johnson from the University of Manchester. The AI Asia Roadshow titled as "Role of AI in Strategic Decision-Making" will be hosted on 15 April 2025 (Tuesday) in Hong Kong.

In this talk, Dr. Mark Johnson will engage in a discussion about how AI-based simulations can address the human challenges at the intersection of organization and technology. There will also be an in-depth panel discussion on the current utilization of AI in Hong Kong.

Meet our Speakers:  

Dr. Mark Johnson - The University of Manchester

 

Dr. Mark William Johnson is a systems theorist, technologist and educational designer, whose work has led to the establishment of an AI diagnostic medical company, and many international educational design innovations over a period of 20 years. His work has focused on the interface between technology and organisation, with particular emphasis on Management Cybernetics. He is currently lecturer within the Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health in the University of Manchester, Honorary Reader in the University of Liverpool Eye and Vision Science department, and honorary associate professor in the University of Copenhagen’s Department for Science Education.
