Major employers have chosen their favourite universities and business schools, based on the quality of graduates, in a ranking published today in The Times Higher Education.

The best UK universities chosen by major employers asked UK employers, predominantly from business, IT and engineering sectors, to cast votes for the universities from where they like to source graduates.

Alliance Manchester Business School is ranked second out of all business schools featured (19th in the complete listing of both universities and business schools), whilst The University of Manchester is also named as a top preference at equal third across the overall ranking.
